The Institute of Ethnicity and Foreign Languages of Eötvös József College in Baja organizes the Summer Academy for the 31st time. With this training that looks back on a long history we offer development opportunities for teachers of German and Croatian nationalities, English teachers, kindergarten teachers and higher education students. The aim of the program is to introduce modern pedagogical methods and techniques, which can be applied in practice to help the participants in their educational work. Visitors to the summer course will be able to benefit from immediately usable ideas from renowned representatives of the profession, contributing to the expansion and renewal of their methodological toolbox. The Summer Academy is an excellent opportunity for networking, exchanging good practices, discussions, and to view and purchase professional materials brought by our exhibitors.

Participation in the Summer Academy will be recognized as part of your study at the EJF and a certificate will be issued. Pursuant to Article 5 (3) d) of Government Decree 277/1997. (XII.22.) further education credit points can be obtained.
Our main topics this year
- artificial intelligence in language teaching (plenary speaker: Tibor Prievara, Hungarian pioneer of digital education, founder of TanárBlog),
- national identity
- communication and cooperative techniques,
- inclusive pedagogy,
- cultural sensitization,
- experimental pedagogy.
The conference will start with a plenary lecture, followed by parallel presentations and workshops in four sections.
During the event the participants will be provided with: a conference pack, participation in the presentations and workshops, lunch and refreshments during the day.
