The Institute of Ethnicity and Foreign Languages of Eötvös József College in Baja organizes the Summer Academy for the 31st time. With this training that looks back on a long history we offer development opportunities for teachers of German and Croatian nationalities, English teachers, kindergarten teachers and higher education students. The aim of the program is to introduce modern pedagogical methods and techniques, which can be applied in practice to help the participants in their educational work. Visitors to the summer course can gain ideas that can be put to immediate use from recognized representatives of the profession, thus contributing to the expansion and renewal of their methodological toolkit.
At this year's anniversary event we are launching two German nationality sections, separate ones for teachers and kindergarten teachers. A Croatian nationality section and the English section, which has been very popular over the last two years, are also part of the program. The Summer Academy is an excellent opportunity to build relationships, exchange good practices, have discussions and view the professional materials brought by our exhibitors.

Participation in the Summer Academy will be recognized as part of your study at the EJF and a certificate will be issued. Pursuant to Article 5 (3) d) of Government Decree 277/1997. (XII.22.) further education credit points can be obtained.
Our main topics this year
- communication and cooperative techniques,
- possibilities for cultural sensitization,
- motivation,
- developmental approach,
- national identity.
The conference will start with a plenary lecture, followed by parallel presentations and workshops in four sections.
During the event the participants will be provided with: a conference pack, participation in the presentations and workshops, refreshments during the day.
